Scope and Patient Population
- Adults and geriatric patients
- General orthopedic surgical caseload; subspecialty interests supported
- Responsibilities include admissions, rounding, consults, operative cases, and follow‑up care
Facility and Team
- Part of a 458‑bed hospital system; Epic EMR (HIMSS Stage VII)
- Multidisciplinary specialty backup (cardiology, oncology, neurology, surgical services)
- Nurse practitioner support in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Employed within Community Healthcare System physician group
- Opening due to growth/system expansion
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Indiana medical license or eligibility to obtain one
- DEA registration, CSR, BLS/ACLS as required
- EMR proficiency with Epic
- New graduates considered; mentorship available
