We’re seeking an Emergency Medicine physician to provide supplemental locum tenens coverage in Clinton, North Carolina. This role supports both outpatient and inpatient service lines and begins ASAP with ongoing needs.
Schedule and coverage
- Shifts are 12-hour: either 7a–7p or 7p–7a.
- Current shift needs include: Dec 8–11 (nights), Dec 23 (night), Dec 24 (day and night), Dec 28 (day), and Feb 3 (night).
- You will supervise two advanced practice providers on each shift (one covering days, one nights).
- The department has 22 beds, an open ICU, and ED code response responsibilities.
Clinical and operational details
- EMR: Meditech
- Coverage type: Clinical only
- Temporary privileges are available
- Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are provided
Required credentials
- Active North Carolina medical license
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
- DEA registration
- BLS, ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications
- NC Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS
