We’re seeking Emergency Medicine physicians to provide supplemental locum coverage in Grand Ledge, MI. This role is clinical-only, inpatient/outpatient, and starts ASAP with ongoing coverage. Shifts are flexible — 12- or 24-hour blocks (7a–7p or 7p–7a) — and the department sees an annual ER volume of about 15,000 visits. Patient volumes ramp up: expect roughly 20 patients per day for the first six months, increasing to about 40 per day by year-end. CT, X-ray, and onsite lab support are available.
New graduates are welcome to apply. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance will be provided.
Required qualifications:
- Active Michigan medical license
- Board certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
- Current ATLS certification
- Up-to-date health immunizations
- Local candidates are highly preferred
