- Patient Volume: 15-30
- Annual Patient Volume: 13,500
- Case Mix: - Anesthesia, Gen Surg, Lab - OR Response Time, Ortho Surg, Radiology
- Support Staff: 2-4 RNs, 1 MA & APPs
- Required Procedures/Skills: Needs to be proficient in intubation, central lines, LPs, chest tubes and use of ultrasound for FAST exams.
- L&D Dept Available: Yes
- Beds in the Dept: 10
- Trauma Level: IV
- EMR: Epic
- Required to Supervise APPs: Yes
- Other Info: - There is no time in UC; This is ED only. - Critical Access Hospital - Newborn deliveries not received in ED - There is a central phone number to assist with transfer to tertiary transfers.
- Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
Requirements:
- Active WI License or IMLC
- BC in EM (IM/FM are acceptable if proficient on the required skills)
- BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS
- Act 10 is acceptable
- Comfortable & proficient in Epic
