Service setting: Mixed inpatient and outpatient (clinic-based ENT with surgical cases)
Coverage period: Begins July 1, 2026 — ongoing
Reason for coverage: Scheduling need; long-term commitment preferred
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Clinical commitment: 5 clinic days per month + 2 surgery days per month
Patient demographics: Adults
Patient volume: ~5 clinic patients per shift; ~7–12 surgeries per month per surgical day (approx. 712 surgeries/month system-wide)
Support: On-site PA for clinic support
Department beds: 7
Trauma level: Level III
EMR: Athena / Cerner
Privileges: Hospital privileges required
Credentialing: Financial credentialing and payer authorization required (all surgeries elective)
Coverage provided: Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
Requirements:
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Otolaryngology
- BLS (AHA)
Scope: Provide outpatient ENT care and elective surgical coverage per schedule. Clinical only; no additional administrative responsibilities.
