Join a high-volume radiology team in Charleston, WV, providing inpatient and telehealth coverage on a locum tenens basis. This role supplements existing services and includes both clinical shifts and scheduled call.
Schedule and coverage
- Coverage: ASAP – ongoing
- Shift: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (telehealth for general radiology; onsite for general/diagnostic)
- Call: Daily rotation, 4:00 PM–12:00 AM
- Expected volume: 90–100 studies per 8-hour shift (wRVUs 60–70); minimum 80 exams if interpreting MR and body studies
- Case mix highlights: Emergency 40%, MSK 20%, Neuro 20%
Clinical scope and modalities
- Read general radiology with emphasis on high-volume interpretation of XR, CT, MR, US, and nuclear medicine
- Ability to cover ER, MSK, and neuro exams; fellowship in MSK preferred or extensive MSK experience required
Qualifications
- Board certified
- Active West Virginia medical license or participation in IMLC
- DEA registration
