We’re looking for a General Surgeon to provide locum tenens coverage at an inpatient facility in Livingston, TN. This is supplemental, call-only coverage with temporary privileges available. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are provided.
Schedule & Coverage
- Coverage period: Dec 6, 2025 – ongoing
- Required shifts: Dec 6, 7, 20–24 and Jan 3–5, 14–16, 19–26
- Call schedule: 24-hour call (7 a.m. to 7 a.m.), beeper call type
- Call response time: 15 minutes
- Expected callback rate: ~40%
- Typical phone consults per shift: 2–3
- Patient volume per shift: 2–3; admissions typically 1
- Rounding: included

- Service setting: Inpatient
- Department beds: 14
- Support staff: 4 RNs
- EMR: Medhost
