Core Duties
- Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations of older adult patients
- Diagnose psychiatric and comorbid medical conditions and develop evidence-based treatment plans
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications and other treatments
- Document evaluations, treatment plans, and follow-up in the electronic medical record (SmartCare)
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed
- Apply specialized geriatric psychiatric knowledge to complex or atypical presentations
- Collaborate with and provide clinical direction to multidisciplinary team members
- Maintain confidentiality of patient records
- Perform other duties as assigned
