Locums-to-Perm Hematology/Oncology Physician — Outpatient Clinic with Minimal Rounding in Lawton, OK

Join a Hematology/Oncology team in Lawton, OK, providing outpatient care with limited hospital consults and the potential to transition from locum tenens to permanent. This is an ongoing assignment that begins 03/02/2026 and runs for 52 weeks with the option to continue.

Schedule and Setting

• Typical clinical hours Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
• Onsite 34 days, with telehealth coverage during off weeks
• Optional on-call coverage available
• Primarily outpatient clinic with occasional hospital consults and minimal rounding

Patient Population and Clinical Work

• Adults and geriatrics (18+)
• High-volume outpatient practice; case mix focused on hematology/oncology
• Manage chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, hormone therapy, and infusions (no bone marrow transplant or acute leukemia cases)
• Provide phone consults as needed

Facility and Support

• EMR: Mosaiq (proficiency preferred)
• Standard oncology clinic setup with nursing and administrative support
• Hospital consult support and specialty backup available

Credentials and Requirements

• Active Oklahoma medical license required
• Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
• Active DEA registration
• ACLS certification and Oklahoma CSR required
• Minimum 2 years’ specialty experience
• Clean background check required

Privileges, Credentialing, and Logistics

• Hospital privileges required for consults
• Expedited credentialing committed by client (24–48 hour turnaround)
• Travel and malpractice insurance covered

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver outpatient hematology/oncology care across clinic sites
• Manage treatment plans and administer therapies listed above
• Complete minimal hospital rounding and phone consults
• Document and coordinate care using Mosaiq
• Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure continuity of care
