Join a Trauma Level II facility in Williamsport, PA to provide locum tenens Radiation Oncology coverage (inpatient and outpatient) beginning Nov 1, 2025 and ongoing. This full-time clinical position includes weekend call responsibility (beeper; every other week) and flexible weekday shifts (Mon–Fri; typical schedules: 8:00–16:30, 7:00–15:30, or 7:30–16:00; 5 days/week or 22 shifts/month). Temporary privileges are available; hospital privileges required.

Clinical responsibilities

• Manage adult patients only: average 2–3 new consults/day (≈8–12/week shared with a second physician), 1 re-eval, and 2 follow-ups daily. Approximately 30 treatments/day.
• Weekly schedule highlights: simulations and image review Mon–Fri; all on-treatment patient management on Tue; chart rounds Wed at 8:00; network peer review Tue afternoons.
• Will work independently; APP support available.

Procedures and technology

• Deliver 2D/3D RT, IMRT, IGRT, DIBH, SBRT, SRS; brachytherapy for cylinders.
• Equipment: 2 linacs (Trilogy & EDGE TrueBeam) and GE Lightspeed 16-slice wide-bore CT.
• EMR: Aria RO / Epic / IP PowerChart.

Team and support

• Onsite support: APPs, 2 physicists, 2 dosimetrists, 6 radiation therapists, 3 RNs, 2 front-office staff, 1 financial counselor.

Case mix

• Breast, lung, prostate and a variety of other sites.

Requirements

• Active PA medical license, board-certified, DEA registration.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience.
• Local or drive-in candidates highly preferred.

This role is supplemental coverage with clinical duties plus call.
