Locum Tenens Diagnostic Radiologist — General Radiology (Cooperstown, NY)

We are seeking a board-certified Diagnostic Radiologist to provide locum tenens clinical coverage at a hospital-based radiology department in Cooperstown, NY, beginning January 2026 and continuing on an ongoing basis. Coverage is weekday clinical only (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM); no call or overnight shifts required. This is on-site coverage only (no remote reading).

Key responsibilities:

• Interpret CT, MRI, ultrasound (including obstetric), and plain film studies (expected volume: 70–100 studies/day, case mix-dependent).
• Perform screening, diagnostic, and biopsy mammography (preferred; approximately one week per month).
• Document findings in Epic and report via McKesson PACS and Nuance PowerScribe 360.
• Collaborate with departmental colleagues to support workflow, quality, and patient safety.

Facility and support:

• Hospital radiology department using Epic EMR, McKesson PACS, and PowerScribe 360.
• Standard departmental specialty backup available.
• Coverage needed due to staffing vacancy (two radiologists required).

Credentials and compliance:

• Active New York medical license required.
• ABR (American Board of Radiology) certification required.
• Hospital privileges required; temporary privileges to be determined.
• Estimated credentialing timeline: ~120 days.
• Onsite presence only; remote work not permitted.
