Seeking a General Radiology physician (with mammography MQSA competency) for locum tenens coverage in Scranton, PA. This clinical-only role supports inpatient, outpatient, and ED services, providing supplemental coverage beginning Nov 24, 2025 and ongoing. Typical shifts are 7:00 AM–5:00 PM; candidates available for 1–2 weeks per month will be considered. Mammography-only coverage opportunities are also available.

Key responsibilities and volume

• Interpret general radiology studies including CT (advanced angiography/biopsy), MRI, PET, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, and gen rad exams
• Perform mammography under MQSA standards and bone mineral density (QCT)
• Provide non-vascular/interventional procedures (NO IR/vascular)
• Daily patient volume ~100
• Service setting: inpatient/outpatient/ED

Schedule specifics

• Coverage dates to be filled include: Sep 29–Oct 2; Nov 3–6, 10–13, 17–20, 24–26; Dec 1–4, 8–11, 15–18, 22–24, 29–31
• Shift: 7a–5p (mammography-only shifts available)

Requirements

• Active PA medical license or participation in IMLC
• BC/BE in Radiology
• BLS certification
