Overview
Provide supplemental urology coverage for inpatient and outpatient services across New Castle and Farrell, PA, beginning Dec 1, 2025 and ongoing. This locum tenens assignment includes clinical duties and call coverage, with travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance provided.
Schedule & Coverage
- Primary schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, approximately 5 shifts per month
- Call: 24-hour shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 AM) covering nights and weekends; call volume 0–4; expected response time 30 minutes
- Willingness to cover up to three facilities required
- APP support available 8:00 AM–4:00 PM; APPs will manage daytime consults and rounding
Clinical Details
- Patient population: 100% adult
- Typical patient volume: 20–25 patients per day
- Service setting: Inpatient and outpatient
- EMR systems: Epic and Cerner
- Hospital privileges required; temporary privileges available
Qualifications
- Board certified or eligible in Urology (BC/BE)
- Active Pennsylvania medical license or willingness to obtain
- DEA registration
- ACLS, BLS/CPR certifications
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience
