**Maternal Fetal Medicine Medical Director Opening – West Michigan (Grand Rapids + Lakeshore)**
A dynamic and experienced Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Physician is needed to lead a regional MFM program serving the West Michigan market, including Grand Rapids and the Lakeshore communities. This is a full-time clinical and leadership position within a mission-driven healthcare organization.
**About the Opportunity**
This role combines clinical care, program leadership, and multidisciplinary collaboration. The Medical Director will partner with administrative and clinical leaders to shape, grow, and enhance the Maternal Fetal Medicine service line across multiple sites.
**Responsibilities**
-Clinical Leadership: Lead the regional MFM service line and ensure delivery of high-quality care for complex maternal fetal cases
-Patient Care: Provide comprehensive maternal fetal care including consultation, diagnostic services, and management of high-risk pregnancies
-Program Development: Drive strategic growth of the MFM program, accountable for performance in quality, service, engagement, stewardship, and patient outcomes
-Education and Mentorship: Engage with medical students and residents, offering teaching and professional development
**Position Highlights**
-Regional leadership role with dyad partnership alongside Women’s & Children’s administrative leadership and OB/GYN Medical Directors
-Work across two facilities within the market
-Strong multidisciplinary support including obstetrics, neonatology, and other subspecialties
-Mission-driven system with strong organizational resources and established referral relationships
**Candidate Parameters**
-Minimum of 5 years clinical MFM experience (post-training)
-At least 2 years of leadership experience preferred (or completion of leadership training)
-Board Certification required
-Not accepting new graduates or candidates with lapsed certification
-Not accepting locums candidates
-Open to H1B visa candidates (not open to J1)
**Compensation and Benefits**
