Locums Interventional Cardiology Physician

We are seeking an experienced Locums Interventional Cardiologist to provide high-level inpatient and emergency cardiology coverage in Paducah, Kentucky. This role offers flexible monthly availability and the opportunity to work with a respected facility that supports advanced cardiovascular care.

 

Position Details:

 

• Setting: Inpatient / Hospital-based | EMTALA Call
• Shift Schedule:
• 24-hour on-call shifts (7 AM – 7 AM)
• 3–7 days per month
• Weekend Requirements: Yes, based on selected availability
• Patient Population: Adults
• EMR: Epic – Cupid

 

Required Interventional Procedures:

 

• Balloon Angioplasties
• Coronary Angioplasty
• Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
• Heart Catheterization
• Coronary Angiograms

 

General Cardiology Responsibilities:

 

• Respond to all cardiology calls for the hospital
• Provide general cardiology consults as needed
• Interpret cardiac studies including:
• EKGs
• Echocardiograms
• Stress tests (including nuclear stress testing)

 

Requirements:

 

• Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology
• Active Kentucky Medical License & DEA
• Will consider IMLC applicants with 3–7 days/month availability
• ACLS certification
• COVID vaccination required
