Job Description
**Why This Role**
- Inpatient-only interventional cardiology
- Flexible monthly scheduling (3–7 days/month)
- Ongoing call pool expansion for 2026
**Assignment Details**
- Coverage Type: Call only
- Schedule: 3–7 days per month beginning Jan/Feb 2026
- Setting: Inpatient / EMTALA call
- Support: Two interventional cardiologists on staff
- Patient Population: Adult
- EMR: Epic Cupid
**Clinical Details**
- Duties: Respond to all cardiology calls, consults, and inpatient needs
- Interventional Procedures: Balloon angioplasty, coronary angioplasty, PCI, heart catheterization, coronary angiograms
- General Cardiology Responsibilities: Consults as needed, EKG interpretation, Echo reading, Stress test reading (including nuclear)
**Requirements**
- Board Certified
- Active KY license
- IMLC accepted with 3-7 days/month provider availability
- DEA required
- ACLS required
- COVID vaccine preferred
**Compensation**
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
- Malpractice: Provided
- Travel: Reimbursed
