Overview
Provide hospital-based general anesthesia care for adult surgical patients. This role supports ongoing anesthesia coverage within a multidisciplinary surgical and anesthesia team and collaborates closely with anesthesiologists, surgical teams, anesthesia assistants, CRNAs, and perioperative nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective general anesthesia for inpatient and surgical cases.
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence phases; perform airway management and intraoperative monitoring with appropriate anesthetic adjustments.
• Oversee postoperative emergence and recovery care.
• Coordinate care with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative teams to ensure patient safety across variable caseloads.
• Support assigned case types and coverage needs as required by the facility.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia CRNA license.
• Board Certified CRNA or Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA).
• BLS and ACLS required; active DEA certification preferred.
• Prior hospital-based general anesthesia experience.
• Local provider only; full-time availability as specified.

Facility & Support

• Multidisciplinary specialty backup and on-site anesthesia support staff (anesthesia assistants, CRNAs), surgical teams, and nursing available.
• Orientation and credentialing timeline determined by facility; hospital privileges required.

Compensation & Logistics

• Local travel, lodging, and malpractice arrangements handled for local providers only; no travel coverage provided.
• Credentialing and orientation schedules to be coordinated with the facility.
