Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Adolescent Residential Facility, Kinston NC (Evening Shift)

Shift: Monday–Friday, 11:30 AM–8:00 PM
Start date: ASAP
Compensation: $30–$35/hr

Required credentials and qualifications:

• Active North Carolina LPN license
• Current BLS certification
• Experience with adolescent, pediatric, school, public health, correctional-juvenile, and/or emergency nursing
• Able to work independently as the only nurse on-site during part of the shift
• Familiarity with EHR systems and telehealth equipment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Mandatory orientation: Oct. 7–8 (9:00 AM–5:00 PM) and the remainder of that week (7:00 AM–3:30 PM); attendance either in-person or online with camera on

Key responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care within LPN scope under RN/physician direction
• Administer medications and treatments safely and per orders
• Observe, document, and report changes in patient condition
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date electronic health records
• Collaborate with direct care staff to ensure continuity of care
• Support telehealth visits and virtual consultations as needed
• Promote health, safety, and wellness in a secure residential environment
• Complete facility orientation and required ongoing trainings
