Requirements:
- Active North Carolina LPN license
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in adolescent, pediatric, school, public health, correctional-juvenile, and/or emergency nursing
- Ability to work independently as the only nurse on-site during part of the shift
- Familiarity with EHR systems and telehealth equipment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Must attend orientation Oct. 78 (9am5pm) & the remainder of that week (7am3:30pm), either in person or online with camera on.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care within the scope of LPN practice under RN/physician direction
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments safely
- Observe, report, and document changes in patient health status
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with direct care staff to support continuity of care
- Assist with telehealth services and virtual consultations
- Support health, safety, and wellness in a secure environment
- Complete facility orientation and ongoing required training
