Adelphi is hiring a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse to deliver direct nursing care at a correctional facility in SeaTac, Washington. The LPN will provide safe, compliant patient care to inmate-populations, support clinical services, and ensure documentation meets legal, ethical, and institutional standards.

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LPN/LVN license in any U.S. state or territory
• BLS (AHA) certification
• Minimum 6 months LPN/LVN clinical experience

Core Responsibilities

• Administer medications via oral, intradermal, subcutaneous, and intramuscular routes; assist with pill line distribution
• Monitor, evaluate, and document patient responses to therapy
• Perform venipuncture for laboratory specimens and process/filing of lab work daily
• Conduct skin testing and diagnostic procedures as directed (e.g., visual acuity testing, EKGs)
• Maintain accurate medical records and logs, ensuring legible, appropriately filed entries
• Screen laboratory results for abnormalities and notify the physician(s) as required
• Secure, account for, store, and dispose of sharps per institutional and national policies
• Assist mid-level practitioners and physicians with chronic care clinics and patient management
• Provide care consistent with established guidelines and standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned
