Requirements:
- Certified Nurse Practitioner (FNP, AGNP, or relevant NP certification)
- Current state license
- Experience in Ophthalmology or eye care preferred
- Knowledge of ophthalmic assessments, procedures, and diagnostics
- Strong attention to detail and patient care skills
- Ability to work in clinic and surgical settings
Responsibilities:
- Conduct eye-focused assessments and obtain medical histories
- Perform ophthalmologic physical exams and assist with diagnostic testing
- Support pre- and post-operative patient care
- Assist with minor ophthalmologic procedures (if credentialed)
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and eye care
- Document clinical findings and collaborate with ophthalmologists
