Contract Occupational Therapist — School for Deaf & Hard of Hearing Students (Danville, KY)

Schedule: Mon–Fri, 7:30 AM–6:30 PM (includes overtime as needed); 40–50 hrs/week
Rate: $50–$55/hr (DOE)

Summary:
Provide occupational therapy services to students with IEPs on campus, in accordance with professional standards and school policies. Coordinate with school teams, supervisors, and families to support student participation and function across settings.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Kentucky
• Master’s degree or higher
• Relevant certifications
• Preferred: ≥3 years’ school-based OT experience across multiple age levels

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver OT services as specified in each student’s IEP
• Complete evaluations to determine service needs and scope
• Write evaluation reports within 30 days of referral
• Develop therapy goals for inclusion in IEPs
• Prepare and submit quarterly progress reports for student files
• Participate in Admission and Release Committee (ARD) meetings or ensure availability of required information
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and assigned supervisor/designee to coordinate services
• Perform other assigned duties as required
