- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from a program accredited by ACOTE or another AOTA-recognized body
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a school-based setting working with students who have disabilities
- Active Missouri Occupational Therapist license issued by the Missouri Division of Professional Registration
- Ability to pass all required state background checks (Family Care Safety Registry and FBI fingerprint)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Provide occupational therapy services to students ages 5–21 with varying levels of disability within classroom and school environments
- Implement therapy through an integrated, educational approach, supporting IEP goals and student participation
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Document progress, prepare reports, and maintain compliance with all school and state documentation standards
- Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and collaborative planning
- Work with teachers, paraprofessionals, and multidisciplinary staff to ensure continuity of care and learning
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional and educational regulations
- Ensure all services comply with state licensure requirements, FERPA confidentiality standards, and applicable school district policies
