Requirements:

• Valid Occupational Therapy state license or documentation of eligibility
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation

Key responsibilities:

• Screen, examine, evaluate patients; establish diagnoses, treatment plans and goals
• Design, implement and adapt individualized therapeutic programs and activities
• Select, design and instruct patients in use of adaptive devices; train for functional activities
• Monitor and document patient progress; perform routine reexaminations and adjust plans as needed
• Supervise OT assistants, temporary licensees, students and support staff as required
• Consult with rehabilitation team members and refer to other disciplines or agencies when appropriate
• Maintain treatment schedules, clinical and billing documentation; attend patient care conferences and work-related meetings
• Order, clean, maintain and report repair needs for supplies and equipment
• Ensure a safe environment and eliminate fire/safety hazards
• Prioritize patient-centered, compassionate care
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
