Occupational Therapist (OT) — Full-Time, Petoskey MI (Supervisory Role)

We're looking for a full-time Occupational Therapist to join our team in Petoskey, MI, starting ASAP. Your regular schedule will be 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.

What we need from you

• A valid Occupational Therapy state license or proof of eligibility.
• A valid driver’s license or reliable transportation.

What you’ll do
You’ll lead and support therapy services while working closely with patients and the rehab team. Typical responsibilities include:

• Supervising Occupational Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students, and support staff as needed.
• Screening, examining, and evaluating patients to establish diagnoses, treatment plans, and measurable goals.
• Designing and applying adaptive devices and training patients in their use.
• Selecting and adapting therapeutic activities that match each patient’s abilities and interests.
• Instructing patients in skills for daily functional activities and tracking progress through routine reexaminations, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
• Consulting with other rehabilitation team members and referring patients to other disciplines or community agencies when appropriate.
• Maintaining treatment schedules, completing clinical and billing documentation, and participating in patient care conferences and work-related meetings.
• Ordering, cleaning, maintaining equipment and supplies, and reporting repair needs.
• Ensuring a safe environment, identifying and eliminating safety and fire hazards.
• Prioritizing compassionate, high-quality patient care.

Other duties may be assigned by management.
