We’re seeking an experienced Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery specialist to join a busy practice in Wilmington, North Carolina. This is a locum tenens opportunity covering both outpatient and inpatient/hospital settings. Assignments begin ASAP and can continue on an ongoing basis. Coverage options are flexible — clinical plus call, clinical only, or call only.
Pay is competitive with market rates, and travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are provided.
What we’re looking for:
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
- Active state medical license
- Relevant clinical experience in the specialty
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
What you’ll do:
- Provide comprehensive oral and maxillofacial surgical care for outpatient and inpatient patients
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions within your scope
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Ensure timely, accurate documentation and maintain compliance with all policies
