Join a Corsicana, TX hospital to provide supplemental general orthopedic coverage (locum tenens) for inpatient and outpatient care from Nov 24–Dec 31, 2025. Coverage is call-only with a 24-hour beeper schedule (8:00 a.m.–8:00 a.m.), 1:5 call ratio, 30-minute response time, and an estimated 10% callback. Expected daily volumes during shifts: 1–2 inpatients, approximately 5 phone consults, and 1 admission. Rounding is required. Department has 25 beds and is a Level IV trauma center. EMR: Athena.
Shift specifics to fill: Dec 17–21, 2025.
Support and logistics: RN support provided. Temporary hospital privileges available; hospital privileges required. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered.
Provider requirements: Active Texas medical license or participation in the IMLC, BC/BE in Orthopedic Surgery, and current BLS, ABLS, and ACLS certifications.
