Contract Speech-Language Pathologist (Home Health, Days) — Pittsfield, MA

Join a home health team in Pittsfield, MA as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract/travel assignment starting ASAP. This day-shift role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (8-hour days). Weekend coverage is required every 4–6 weekends, with holiday coverage as needed. Compensation: $2,804 per 40-hour week.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide independent SLP home health services with minimal supervision.
• Assess, plan, and implement rehabilitation for communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Utilize and document use of language/communication aids, assistive devices, and mobility equipment as appropriate.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team and ensure compliance with home health protocols.

Required qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology.
• MA Speech-Language Pathologist license.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellow candidates accepted.
• Minimum 2 years’ SLP home care experience; acute care experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle for travel to patient homes.
• BLS (AHA) certification.
• Ability to work independently with strong clinical reasoning and documentation skills.
