We’re looking for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Montesano, WA. The position starts ASAP and follows an 8:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule.

What you’ll bring

  • A current Speech-Language Pathologist license for the state where you’ll practice, or proof of eligibility.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), or eligibility to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow.
  • Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation.

What you’ll do

  • Provide high-quality, compassionate care tailored to each patient’s needs and rights.
  • Screen, examine, and evaluate patients to determine diagnoses, impairments, and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Deliver speech-language pathology services across areas such as cognitive-communication, speech intelligibility, oral motor function, swallowing disorders, perception, orientation and memory, pragmatic and psychosocial communication, and functional communication.
  • Implement and document treatment, perform routine re-evaluations, and modify plans as patients progress.
  • Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team and referring physicians, including referrals to other disciplines or agencies when needed.
  • Supervise clinical fellows (CFYs), temporary licensees, students, and support staff in accordance with state licensure and professional standards.
  • Train and support patients in the use of adaptive communication devices and identify hearing concerns for referral.
  • Select and adapt therapy activities based on patients’ physical/mental capabilities, interests, and goals, and instruct patients in therapeutic techniques while monitoring progress and behavior.
  • Participate in patient care conferences, department meetings, and other work-related meetings; attend to clinical and billing documentation and scheduling requirements.
  • Help maintain a safe environment by addressing safety and fire hazards, ordering supplies and equipment, and reporting and cleaning or maintaining equipment as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
