Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (40 hrs/week)
Compensation: $55/hour

Overview
Provide school-based psychological services on an 8-week substitute contract. Evaluate students, collaborate with educators and families, and support academic, social-emotional, and behavioral interventions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Michigan Department of Education certification as a School Psychologist
• Experience administering, scoring, and interpreting educational and psychological assessments
• Skill in data collection, analysis, and interpretation to inform educational decisions
• Knowledge of PBIS, universal behavior strategies, and development of accommodations/modifications
• Familiarity with Michigan Administrative Rules for Special Education (MARSE) and special education eligibility processes
• Strong communication, collaboration, and professional ethics; commitment to confidentiality

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological and psychoeducational evaluations and prepare required documentation
• Identify barriers to learning and recommend evidence-based instructional and behavioral strategies
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to determine special education eligibility and develop IEP supports
• Develop, implement, and monitor data-driven interventions and progress monitoring plans
• Collect, analyze, and report academic and behavioral data to guide instruction and supports
• Provide consultation to teachers, staff, and families; coordinate referrals to community agencies as needed
• Participate in crisis intervention and school support teams
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential records in compliance with district and state requirements
• Report to Building Principal(s) and Executive Director of Student Support Services
• Perform other duties as assigned

Work Setting
On-site at district-assigned schools within Waterford Township; travel between buildings as required.
