We’re seeking a board-certified or board-eligible urologist to provide locum tenens call coverage at an inpatient facility in Dothan, Alabama. This is supplemental coverage for two specific call shifts during December 2025: December 12–13 and December 30. Coverage runs 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m., beeper call with a 30-minute response expectation.
What you’ll be covering
- ER and inpatient consults (phone consults typically 5–6)
- In-person patient volume: about 4–8 patients per shift
- Admissions: roughly 1–2 per shift
- Rounds are included
- Department size: 32 beds
- EMR: Cerner
Logistics & support
- Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are provided
- This is call-only coverage
Requirements
- Active Alabama medical license or participation in IMLC
- BC/BE in Urology
