Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide OB/GYN patient care across outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Manage low- and high-risk pregnancies; perform fetal heart rate interpretation (NST/CST/FSE).
• Perform and interpret Level I/screening OB ultrasounds (viability).
• Conduct routine and complicated deliveries (vaginal, low forceps, C-section decision-making).
• Repair 3rd and 4th degree lacerations.
• Office/minor gyne procedures: IUD insertion/removal, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryotherapy, LEEP, etc.
• Surgical gyne: open and diagnostic laparoscopic/minor procedures (tubal ligation, lysis of adhesions, ovarian cystectomy); operative/major procedures including ectopic management and oophorectomy.
• Stabilize department operations, implement processes/workflows, mentor and collaborate with providers; supervise APPs and support staff.
• Rounding and admissions (average admissions: 3 per shift).

Credentials / Requirements

• Active Washington medical license or participation in IMLC
• Board Certified (BC)
• BLS required
• Minimum 7 years of leadership experience
• Required to supervise APPs
• Hospital privileges required (temporary privileges available)

• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance provided

Additional Preferences

• Experienced surgeon; robotic training preferred
• Minimum 2 years prior leadership experience (in addition to the 7 years required)
