LPN – Pediatric/Adolescent Nursing (Juvenile Justice) | $30–$35/hr, 11:30a–8pm, Siler City, NC

Join a team providing nursing care in a juvenile justice setting in Siler City, North Carolina. You’ll support adolescent health and wellness in a structured environment, often working alongside direct care staff and sometimes as the sole nurse on-site for part of your shift. This is a 13-week contract starting ASAP with the possibility to renew.

What we’re looking for:

• Active North Carolina LPN license
• Current BLS certification
• Experience with adolescent/pediatric, school, public health, correctional-juvenile, and/or emergency nursing
• Comfort working independently as the only nurse on-site for part of a shift
• Familiarity with EHR systems and telehealth equipment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Availability to complete facility-based orientation at the start of the assignment

What you’ll do:

• Provide direct patient care within the LPN scope under RN/physician direction
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Observe, report, and document changes in patient health status
• Maintain thorough nursing documentation in the electronic health record
• Collaborate with direct care staff to ensure continuity of care
• Support telehealth services and virtual consultations as needed
• Promote health, safety, and wellness in a secure facility
• Complete facility orientation and any required ongoing training
