Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) — Carmichael, CA (13-Week Contract)

Join a 13-week contract opportunity in Carmichael, CA (start ASAP). Schedule: Mon–Fri, 08:00 AM–04:30 PM. Compensation: Travel: $2,182/36 hrs; Local: $2,149/36 hrs.

Requirements:

• Active, valid Occupational Therapy state license
• Current CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (with AED)

Key responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients’ physical, cognitive, and environmental needs to identify limitations and establish goals
• Develop individualized, collaborative treatment plans with patients and the interdisciplinary care team
• Implement evidence-based interventions to improve daily living skills, independence, and functional outcomes
• Recommend and train patients in the use of adaptive equipment and assistive devices
• Provide hands-on instruction and practice for activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental ADLs
• Educate patients and families on management strategies to maximize independence and safety
• Monitor, document, and revise treatment progress through clear, timely clinical records and progress notes
• Support patients’ successful return to community and workplace activities
• Participate in ongoing professional development and apply current occupational therapy best practices
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management
