Join Adelphi as an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse supporting adolescent health and wellness at a juvenile justice facility in Reidsville (Rockingham County), North Carolina. You’ll work in a structured setting helping teens stay healthy and safe, often collaborating closely with direct care staff—and at times functioning as the only nurse on-site during part of your shift.

What we’re looking for

• Active North Carolina LPN license and current BLS
• Experience in adolescent, pediatric, school, public health, correctional-juvenile, or emergency nursing
• Comfort working independently as the sole nurse on-site at times
• Familiarity with EHR systems and basic telehealth equipment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Availability to complete facility-based orientation at the start of the assignment

What you’ll do

• Provide direct nursing care within your LPN scope under RN/physician direction
• Safely administer medications and treatments
• Observe, document, and report changes in patient health status
• Maintain accurate nursing records in the electronic health record
• Work with direct care staff to support continuity of care
• Assist with telehealth consultations as needed
• Promote health, safety, and wellness in a secure environment
• Complete required orientation and ongoing training
