Locums Interventional Cardiology Physician

We are seeking an experienced Locums Interventional Cardiology Physician to provide inpatient coverage at a Level II Trauma Center in Nampa, Idaho. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a collaborative, patient-focused team in a modern, well-equipped facility.

 

Position Details:

 

• Shift Type: 24-hour call coverage (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
• Schedule: Includes weekends and rotating call shifts
• Setting: Inpatient only
• Trauma Level: II
• Patient Volume:
• Average of 3 consults per day
• Average of 2 procedures per day
• EMR: Epic

 

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive interventional cardiology services to hospitalized patients
• Perform a full range of interventional procedures, including:
• Coronary stenting
• Balloon pump placement
• IVUS and iFR assessments
• STEMI management and emergency interventions
• Conduct TEE (Transesophageal Echocardiograms) – highly preferred
• Collaborate with hospitalists, intensivists, and nursing staff for coordinated patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system

 

Requirements:

 

• Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Cardiovascular Disease
• Active Idaho Medical License or active IMLC license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Fully COVID-19 vaccinated (required)
• Local candidates preferred
