Job Description
Hospital Medicine is seeking a full-time nocturnist physician to join our dynamic and experienced team.
Position Details
- This position offers 12 shifts per month, 36 hours per week.
- Shift times are 4pm-4am and 7pm-7am.
- Admit in collaboration with Advanced Practice Providers, consult with specialists, respond to RRTs and codes, and cross-cover patients on some nights.
- Perform pre-operative assessments and co-manage surgical patients.
- Practice efficiently and effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment.
- Flexible and responsive to patient needs and unexpected staffing changes.
- Closed ICU.
- No procedures required.
- EMR system is Epic.
Qualifications
- MD or DO licensed in Connecticut.
- DEA and CDS licenses.
- Board Certified/Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (within 5 years).
Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation includes salary, incentive, and bonus.
- Benefits, including health, dental, 403(b), and malpractice coverage with tail.
- CME allowance and time off.
