Shift: 4x12 Nights (7p–7a)
Start Date: 12/15/2025
We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a travel assignment in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role supports L&D, NICU, PICU, and Pediatric units within a high-acuity children's hospital environment. Ideal for therapists confident in critical care and comfortable floating between units.
Job Details
Schedule: 3x12 or 4x12 nights
Every Other Weekend Required
Floating Required: NICU, PICU, Pediatrics, may float to IU Health North Hospital
First-Time Travelers Welcome
No Local Candidates (must live 50+ miles away)
Requirements
Active NBRC-RRT (must be in hand before submission)
Active Indiana License
18+ months recent NICU or PICU experience
Trauma Level I experience in a children’s hospital (within last year)
L&D experience required
Education accredited by CoARC & CHEA
Certifications:
ACLS & BLS
NRP (required for L&D; may obtain after offer)
PALS preferred
Skills Preferred
Vent management: Servo I, Servo U, Hamilton G5
NICU/PICU high-acuity experience
HFNC, CPAP/BiPAP, Nitric Oxide, Inhaled Flolan
ABG interpretation
Tracheostomy care & airway management
Wide range of respiratory medications and aerosol procedures
Compliance Requirements

MMR, Hep B, Varicella titers
Tdap & Flu vaccine
Background check & Respiratory Fit Test
