Requirements
- Licensed dentist in Texas (Texas State Board of Dental Examiners)
- Current, unrestricted DEA registration
- National Provider Identifier (NPI#)
- Completion of all agency and facility pre-employment training
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive dental services, including routine and advanced care, for residents with intellectual disabilities
- Develop and document treatment plans; justify any irreversible procedures in writing
- Maintain timely, accurate clinical charting in electronic medical/dental records
- Apply and adhere to best and safe clinical practices
- Organize and maintain patient records, schedules, and related logistics
- Communicate clinical and procedural information clearly to staff, residents, and stakeholders
- Work effectively in a team and independently with minimal supervision
Facility population: Residents at a Limestone County residential care facility.
