Locum Tenens OB/GYN Physician — Fishers/Carmel, IN (Clinic + Call; Feb 2026 Ongoing)

We’re looking for an OB/GYN to provide supplemental locum coverage at two facilities serving Fishers and Carmel, IN. This is a mix of inpatient and outpatient work with flexible scheduling options and full travel, lodging, and malpractice coverage provided.

Assignment details

Schedule options (choose one)

• Option 1 — Clinic only: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., 5 days/month
• Option 2 — Clinic + Call: Clinic plus inpatient responsibilities; typical day: 7:00–9:00 a.m. (clinic/call sign-out), rounds 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., plus call coverage (nights 4:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.), 5 days/month
• Call type: Beeper response required with immediate response time

Clinical volume & support

• Annual deliveries at the hospitals: ~2,000
• Daily patient volume: 16–18
• Rounding included
• Support staff: 2 APPs, 1 RN, 1–2 MAs, and ~15 office staff

Clinical responsibilities

• If you select Option 1 (Clinic only): IUD/Nexplanon insertion and removal, colposcopy, endometrial biopsy, and NST interpretation/evaluation.
• If you select Option 2 (Clinic + Call): All clinic duties above plus management and delivery of obstetric patients, suction D&C, laparoscopic salpingectomy, laparoscopic cystectomy/oophorectomy, and ER consultations.

Requirements

• Active Indiana medical license or participation in IMLC
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
• BLS certification
