**Locum | Cardiovascular Surgery APP | Clinic + Call | Hickory, NC**
**Why This Role**
- Vacancy due to department restructuring
- Full-scope CV surgery APP role including OR, ICU, floors, and clinic
- Flexible rotation model with ongoing long-term need
**Assignment Details**
- Start: ASAP
- End: Ongoing
- Coverage: Scheduled clinical hours + call
- Shifts: 7a–7a, variable rotation; combination of onsite hours + first call
- Setting: Inpatient and outpatient
- EMR: Cerner and Athena
- Rounding: Assigned and unassigned patients
- Orientation occurs monthly (1/29, 2/26, 3/26, etc.)
**Clinical Details**
- Full-scope CV surgery APP role including:
- OR
- ICU rounding
- Floor rounding
- Post-op clinic coverage (at least one day weekly)
**Requirements**
- Active NC license
- Board certification
- ACLS, BLS
- Ability to take first call
- Experience in OR, floor/ICU rounding, and post-op clinic
- Eligible for full hospital credentialing (60–90 days)
**Compensation**
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
- Malpractice: Provided
- Travel: Reimbursed
