Job Description
A hospital in Mount Clemens, MI, is seeking a Locums Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician to provide 24-hour call coverage for cardiovascular and trauma services. This opportunity offers a fully supported surgical environment with RNFA and APP coverage, a full Cath lab, and a staffed clinic.
Schedule & Coverage:
- Coverage: Monday through Sunday (including weekends)
- Shift Type: 24-hour call coverage
- Patient Volume: Average of 5 patients per day
Facility & Support:
- Full Cath lab capabilities
- Dedicated cardiothoracic surgical service suite
- Fully staffed clinic with RNFA and APP support
- Electronic Health Record: Cerner
Procedures & Skills Required:
- Aneurysm repairs
- Thoracic surgery
- Arterial bypass procedures
- Peripheral vascular procedures
- Abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) repairs
- Bypass surgery
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Active Michigan medical license
- Experience managing complex adult cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgical cases
