Job Description
**Why This Role**
- High-acuity inpatient GI with full anesthesia support
- ERCP required with steady procedure volume
- Long block options available throughout 2026
**Assignment Details**
- Inpatient only
- Start Date: As soon as credentialed
- Shifts: 24-hour call, 7a-7a
- Assignment: Ongoing block coverage
- Procedures: Endoscopies, colonoscopies, ERCP
- EMR: Paragon (transitioning to Epic in 2026)
- Support Staff: Endoscopy-trained GI nursing staff
- Patient Load: Up to 10 daily rounds plus procedures
**Requirements**
- TX license required
- ACLS required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Gastroenterology residency required
- Clean malpractice strongly preferred
- Availability required for listed 2026 dates
**Compensation**
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
- Malpractice: Provided
- Travel: Reimbursed
