Locum OB/GYN Sonographer — Full-Time M–F, Reid Health (Richmond, IN) with Travel/Lodging Covered

We’re looking for an experienced OB/GYN sonographer to join Reid Health in Richmond, IN, starting February 1, 2026, on a full-time locum tenens assignment (Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.). You’ll be working in the inpatient OB/GYN department of a 220+ bed, Level III regional health system that uses Epic and provides specialty OB/GYN backup.

What you’ll be doing

• Perform high-quality obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound exams for inpatient OB/GYN patients.
• Collaborate closely with OB/GYN physicians, RNs, and support staff to coordinate patient care.
• Accurately document studies and findings in Epic.
• Complete order entry and timesheets in Vemsta as needed.

• Start date: 02/01/2026
• Ongoing coverage, clinical only
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

Who we’re looking for

• ARDMS with an OB/GYN specialty is required; ARDMS (AB) accepted if your experience is strictly obstetrics-focused.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an OB-specific ultrasound setting (not general ultrasound).
• Current BLS (AHA).
• Must meet Indiana clinical licensing requirements.
• Flu vaccination required unless you have a valid exemption.

Facility & logistics

• Reid Health: non-profit, accredited regional health system serving East-Central Indiana and West-Central Ohio.
• Trauma Level III, OB/GYN department support available.
• Credentialing typically takes 30–60 days; temporary privileges are not available and an interview is not required.
• Reason for coverage: department growth.

• OB/GYN diagnostic ultrasound exams (no additional procedures required).
