Full-time Newborn Hospitalist PNP Opportunity in North Dallas

ResponsibilitiesWe have an exciting opportunity for a pediatric nurse practitioner to work with our newborn hospitalist group in Dallas! Our group is a part of a team that includes in-house neonatologists along with our affiliated group of neonatal nurse practitioners, developmental pediatricians, cardiologists, MFMs and pediatric surgeons who provide comprehensive newborn services at multiple hospitals.

 

Details:

 

 

Provide 10-hour, in-house coverage in the newborn nursery, no call requirements

Responsibilities include admissions and management of infants in the newborn nursery, delivery attendance, transitional care, circumcisions and consultations with families

Neonatologist assistance/backup is provided as needed and in all high-risk situations

Flexibility with interest in learning and a desire to teach are highly valued

Opportunity to participate in education and quality improvement initiatives
