Orlando Health is seeking a BE/BC Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join our new formed employed Anesthesiology team for Orlando Health – Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC). As a nationally recognized Level One Trauma Center and academic teaching hospital, ORMC serves as the flagship hospital of the Orlando Health system. ORMC provides comprehensive surgical, trauma, critical care and specialty services and is dedicated to high-quality patient care, clinical excellence and innovation.
We are looking for skilled, compassionate, and team-orientated Anesthesiologist’s who will provide high-quality anesthesia care across a wide range of surgical specialties in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role involves working closely with surgeons, CRNAs, CAAs, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective perioperative care.
Practice Highlights:
- Location: Orlando Health – Orlando Regional Medical Center
- High acuity environment with a diverse case mix.
- No pediatrics or OB.
- Collaborative team of anesthesiologists, CRNAs, CAAs and surgical specialists
- 80% supervision and 20% personally performed cases
- Call: 100% back up only, with rare call-ins
- No anesthesia residents or fellows
Role Requirements:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited Anesthesiology residency.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA)
- Unrestricted FL Medical License (or the ability to obtain one) and DEA
