Seeking a locum tenens Radiation Oncology physician to provide supplemental outpatient coverage in Walla Walla, WA. Coverage is clinical only, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Patient volume averages ~8 patients per shift.
Coverage windows:
- June 17–23, 2026
- Two weeks in September 2026
- Two weeks in November 2026
Overall coverage period: June 17, 2026–November 2026
Clinical environment and resources:
- Onsite linear accelerator with RapidArc/VMAT and electron capability
- Techniques: conventional/conformal therapy, IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, SRS (all types)
- Treatment planning: conventional, beam shaping (MLC), 3D CRT, IMRT planning, PET/CT or MRI fusion, electronic portal imaging
- X‑ray onsite
- Department: 4 beds, 4 exam rooms
- Staffing: 1 Radiation Oncologist in practice, 1 dosimetrist, 1 physicist, 5 radiation therapists
- EMR: Epic (hospital), ARIA (clinic)
- Hospital privileges required
Requirements and logistics:
- Board certified in Radiation Oncology (ABMS/AOA)
- Active Washington medical license or participation in the IMLC
- Travel, lodging, and malpractice coverage provided
