Locum Tenens Hematology & Oncology Physician — Outpatient (Kamuela/Waimea, HI)

Join a friendly outpatient hematology/oncology team in Kamuela (Waimea), HI, filling a locum tenens opening to provide supplemental clinical coverage starting ASAP and continuing on an ongoing basis. You’ll work Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. with a 1-hour unpaid lunch, covering a typical patient load of 15–20 per day (some visits are chemotherapy administration or require only MD signature).

What you’ll be doing

• Provide hematology and oncology care including chemo administration and management of anemias, lymphomas, bleeding disorders, and various carcinomas.
• Manage medical oncology cases involving CNS, chest, skeletal, head/neck neoplasms, as well as breast, gynecologic, and other miscellaneous tumor types.
• Collaborate with an APP, 2 RNs, 2 MAs, and 1 office staff member to deliver coordinated outpatient care.

Requirements

• Active HI medical license or participation in IMLC
• Board certified
• DEA/CSR
