**Medical Oncologist Opening – Southern Vermont**
Located in Brattleboro, VT
Part Time
A welcoming outpatient oncology program in scenic southern Vermont is seeking a compassionate, part-time Medical Oncologist to join a collaborative, patient-centered team. This role offers a flexible schedule, supportive work environment, and the ability to make a meaningful impact in a community that deeply values high-quality cancer care.
**About the Position**
-Provide outpatient oncology care with occasional inpatient consults
-See approximately 14–16 patients per clinic day
-Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of cancer conditions using evidence-based care
-Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient
-Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including surgeons, radiologists, nurses, and support staff
-Participate in a shared on-call schedule (flexible and negotiable)
-Use Cerner Community Works EMR
-Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and prognosis
-Maintain clinical knowledge through ongoing education and professional development
-Contribute to a supportive, compassionate, and team-driven care culture
-Open to commuting candidates; long-distance arrangements are acceptable
-Ideal for physicians seeking a part-time schedule, flexibility, or dual employment
