**Assignment Details**

- Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8a–4p; one weekend per month (rounding only, Sat–Sun 8a–4p)
- Practice Setting: Inpatient
- Patients per Day: Up to 17 weekdays
- Admissions per Day: 2–3
- EMR: Cerner
- Call Type: Beeper, 30-minute response time
- Trauma Level: N/A

**Requirements**
- Board Certified in Psychiatry
- Active California license
- BLS
- Strong inpatient psychiatry background
- Clean history

**Clinical Details**
- Scope: Adult inpatient psychiatry (ages 18+)
- Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily rounds and manage up to 17 patients
- Perform 2–3 new admissions per day
- Lead multidisciplinary treatment planning
- Provide pharmacotherapy and therapeutic interventions
- Areas of Focus:
- Anxiety, affective, psychotic, and personality disorders
- ADD/ADHD and mood disorders
- Preferred Experience:
- Group and family therapy
- Seclusion/restraint procedures
- Involuntary commitments
- Weekend coverage limited to rounding only; no overnight call

**Compensation**
